HOMECOMING 2024 | CHILDREN OF GOD, WELCOME HOME! | SEPTEMBER 15

We’ll kick off the day with a joyful service at 11 AM. The Rev. Dr. Pamela Anderson will be delivering a powerful sermon, and our Chancel Choir, accompanied by the organ, will lead us in beloved hymns and anthems.

After worship, head to the Social Hall for a fantasy-themed brunch, where members of the congregation have creatively decorated tables with fun and imaginative themes! Some themes include Alice in Wonderland, Lord of the Rings, House of the Dragon, Teddy Bear Picnic, and many more. There will also be an opportunity to have a small pour of Mimosa.

During brunch, browse our Silent Auction featuring an array of donated items—something for everyone!

We will also host a “Fund-a-Need” opportunity. A Fund-a-Need is an opportunity for individuals to make a cash gift to Lakeside to support one of our major projects. Want to find out more? Join us on Sunday.

For entertainment, Chancel Choir baritone Corby York will delight us with a piano/vocal performance, singing favorites like Gershwin’s “Someone to Watch Over Me,” Sondheim’s “Beautiful City,” Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah,” Adele’s “Easy on Me,” and many more!
